We stayed at the hotel for two nights. First night was above average, mainly due to the woman at reception (woman with long black hair, working around 6pm on 16th Oct). Me and my partner were quite disappointed, due to the fact that a lot of the amenities that we received the first night we did not receive the second. Eg, no fresh towels, bed was not remade, no coffee etc. I know these might only be small things, but if I am paying the same price for two nights, shouldn't I receive the same courtesies the following day. The carpet was not very clean and the shower was a bit dirty on the bottom of the door. We were not informed that the (king bed) was two beds pushed together which prevented me and my partner from getting a good night sleep. Would have been nice to have been told that there were going to be school tours very early to late (varying ages) two days in a row (walkway 1 metre from our window). Convenient parking space behind room. Hotel provides the option to buy tickets to sovereign Hill and use their door to access it. Overall, first night was good, but I do not believe I would recommend to others.
