The Newnes Kiosk is within the bar of the now de-licensed Newnes Hotel, the last surviving building from the days of oil-shale mining at Newnes. The kiosk is open weekends and supplies information on the local Newnes area. Soft drinks, ice creams and a limited range of camper supplies are also stocked. Newnes is surrounded by Wollemi National Park, part of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area.
